How easy it can be to take each day for granted

Today I am reminded how grateful I ought to be for every single new day that I have the gift of being a part of. As I sit here thankful for the light slowly crowding out the darkness of the night out my window, I am again reminded of the glorious big picture I am actually a part of. I am thankful for the beauty of this landscape and the awesomeness of His design. I make my prayer today that I have His Kingdom work at the center of all of my actions and interactions in His world today. I also want to make sure that I maximize that effort in the spirit of showing how much I value each individual day, the present, rather than constantly focusing on the future. To God be the glory...
